Learn more about Aetheia
Eyoto Aetheia
Aetheia has the unrivalled ability to rotate each arm to create a 120-degree displacement, with the ability to ‘pan around’ a fixed point. It can share images/video with patients and experts in real time of any pathologies found. Seamlessly integrates with Patient Management Systems or PACS server for providing unrivalled long-term patient management through image and video comparison. Aetheia has the ability to capture image and video of pathology, and export to patient management platforms, the files can then be viewed at a later point in time or even shared as part of an enhanced and expedited referral/diagnosis process. Patients want convenient and affordable eyecare at times and locations to suit them. There is a limit to the number of patients and locations an optometrist can cover in person, and there is a shortage of qualified specialists in many areas. Aetheia solves the timing and location challenges, increases capacity, and delivers convenience to patients.
Multiple levels of zoom, to a maximum of x25, gives ultimate control over how much detail is required. The live 4K feed from Theia can also be shared in real time, to aid with education, training or peer discussions, or to liaise with ophthalmologists regarding acute/urgent care. Accurate movement and control allows for easily transferable techniques from traditional slit lamp to Aetheia. With the same functionality as a traditional slit lamp, Aetheia can bring convenience, and efficiency and help to manage challenges created by a shortage of practitioners. Fully Remote Operation With optometrists conducting eye examinations remotely, there is the opportunity for one optometrist to cover multiple centres, or to balance schedules across centres to match optometrist supply and demand.
